What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist - Millard Henry Clinic - Specialty Dept. position at Saint Mary’s Regional Health System?
Responsible for accurate demographic and insurance information to be obtained from patient, completing full registration in Athena for all patients. Responsible for scheduling and re-scheduling of patient appointments upon request and managing physician work schedule. Also responsible for collection of patient payments, editing claims prior to claims filing, balancing cash drawer, and follow up of claims that require corrections. Staff buckets must be completed in a timely manner, along with outstanding claims buckets and patient reschedule queues.
Must be able to pass a Credit Check.
Position is required to be on site.
