What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surgical Scrub Tech - Surgery Department position at Saint Mary’s Regional Health System?
Assists the Surgeon and surgical team to maintain quality patient care by passing supplies and instrumentation, observing good sterile technique, cleaning and setting up for procedure. Conducts accurate surgical counts, proper handling of specimens, and proper disposition of instrumentation and equipment. Performs instrument reprocessing of all reusable items.
Position is required to be on site.
