Salary: $31,000 annually
Job responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sports medicine staff to develop and implement injury prevention and injury rehabilitation programs for assigned student-athletes.
- Teach proper technique and provide supervision and motivation as needed.
- Conduct testing to assess student-athlete performance and improvement.
- Assist with the development of various educational resources for both coaches and student-athletes.
- Collaborate with head coaches to develop year-round training programs to meet the demands of their respective sports.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills and Functions:
- Must have strong communication skills and be able to work in a dynamic work environment.
- Must have a strong passion for the profession and be a positive team member on our staff.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours to include evenings and weekends.
- Must have exemplary ethical conduct and a commitment to follow all applicable NCAA Division III and Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference rules and regulations.
- Observes safety guidelines and follows safety procedures established by the university.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health/Exercise Science related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a high school or college setting.
- Current NSCA-CSCS and/or CSCCA-SCCC certification.
- Current First Aid, CPR/AED certified.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree.
- Experience working with Sports Medicine team and return to play protocols.
- Secondary certifications: USA Weightlifting, Precision Nutrition, RPR, etc.
