The Facilities Coordinator will assist with Event Planning and Facilitation. The duties include but are not limited to various clerical duties, event set up, hosting and serving as the University representative at events. The hours are daytime, evenings, weekdays and weekends
Reporting to the Vice President for Facilities and the Chief Operating Officer
- Assist in Event Planning and Hosting.
- Meeting with potential event clients, sharing information and or providing tours for them through the Event Center.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Department, Security Department and clients in planning and hosting events.
- Managing utilization and external rentals of campus facilities.
- Provide oversight for the Event Center events, both internal and external.
- Approving Astra Booking requests
- Coordinating Astra Events with the Maintenance and Security Department.
- Miscellaneous clerical needs, printing, photocopying, document duplication and billing.
- Perform setup and cleanup for events held in the Event Center.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President for Facilities or the Chief Operating Officer
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Good communication skills
- Computer skills
