St. Norbert College, a nationally-ranked, private, Catholic, liberal arts college is currently seeking two Admission Counselors. These positions are responsible for the recruitment of first-year students. The two territories are Western Wisconsin/Minnesota and Fox Valley/Madison. Specific responsibilities: Serve as territory manager and conduct recruitment activities designed to attract prospective students. Conduct admission interviews and assist in the application review process. Provide individual and group presentations, both on and off-campus. - 60% Utilize telemarketing and e-communication techniques to enhance and maintain a student’s level of interest in the College. - 15% Maintain accurate reports and records pertaining to high school visits, contacts, file review, group contacts, and year-end analysis. Evaluate effectiveness of programs and group visits to make appropriate changes. - 15% Assist the communication staff with recruitment messaging to prospective students. - 10% Perform additional duties as assigned and attend College required training. Regular attendance is required. Work in a manner that is aware of personal safety and the safety of others and observes safety, health and sanitation codes, regulations, or practices required by the College or governmental authority. Required Minimum Qualifications: Education - Bachelor’s Degree Experience and Credentials - 1-3 years previous recruitment or sales experience. Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse campus environment or commitment to do so as an employee of St. Norbert College. Valid Driver’s License. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Knowledge of admissions or related professional experience. Knowledge in usage of Customer Relation Management software, Microsoft Office, Google, and general information systems. Ability to work independently. Ability to communicate with students and families using multiple platforms. Ability to meet specific deadlines and goals both monthly and annually. Skilled at making presentations to both small (as small as 1 person) and large groups (up to 400 people). Skilled at organizing events, programs, projects and seeing them through to completion. Ability to travel (driving) within the states of Wisconsin and Minnesota. Working Conditions - Generally an office position working 8:00 am - 4:30 pm on campus with some travel and nights and weekends required (10 - 15 annually).
