Overview
St. Paul Parish is seeking applications for the position of Parish Administrative Assistant. The Parish Administrative Assistant plays an important role in supporting the Parish Manager and Pastor with administrative duties across the parish. The individual will handle day-to-day office operations and manage communication with parishioners and staff. The position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality while working in a faith-based environment.
The Parish Administrative Assistant reports directly to the Parish Manager. The ParishAdministrative Assistant recognizes the importance of maintaining open lines of communication with other members of the parish staff and working as part of an Administrative Team.
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge and understanding of the Catholic Church and its mission
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Possess a high level of communication skills both orally and in writing
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with the parish leadership, staff, parishioners, committee members and volunteers.
