It is a 45-minute train ride to New York City, a 45-minute drive away from beautiful beaches, and an hour away from Philadelphia, PA.

What We Offer :

  • Opportunity :   Full Time position, seeing patients Monday-Friday, with flexible on-call schedule and pediatric call center assistance.  You will be part of a group that will provide clinical expertise in the evaluation and management of childhood development, behavioral and psychosocial issues. In addition, in this role you will work with and outreach to interested community groups, including schools, childcare programs, parent groups, and help support our broader community based services for the special needs population.
  • Diverse Patient Population :   Treat patients from birth through 18 years of age with a wide range of syndromes, genetic mutations, learning disabilities, and other conditions
  • Balanced Workload :   A typical day includes seeing 3 new patients and 5 follow-up patients
  • Support Staff :   Psychologist, Social Worker, Technical and Administrative Staff, including certified interpreters
  • Academic Environment :   Engage in a rich teaching environment with academic involvement with pediatric residents and students from two medical schools
  • Benefits : Our benefits package offers a competitive salary, up to 44 days of paid time off, and both 401(k) with a 5% match and 457(b) plans. Additional perks include a $3,000 CME allowance, malpractice insurance with tail coverage, and comprehensive health, dental, prescription, and vision coverage. We also provide wellness programs, family caregiving support, child backup care, life and AD&D insurance, and eligibility for Federal Student Loan Forgiveness as a non-profit health system. Tuition reimbursement for advanced degrees, full reimbursement licensing renewal fees, and medical staff membership dues required by Hospital are also included.

  • Comprehensive Pediatric Care :   We offer a full range of medical and surgical pediatric subspecialty care, supported by top pediatric intensivists and neonatologists
  • Advanced Units :   Our facilities include a 54-bed neonatal ICU, an inpatient pediatric unit with a dedicated epilepsy monitoring unit, and a 14-bed pediatric ICU with step-down

    Candidate Requirements

  • Fellowship trained in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics or Pediatric Neurology
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics or Pediatric Neurology
  • MD or DO New Jersey licensed or eligible for licensure
