COUNSELOR-GENETIC
Dept of Genetic-Genomic Med
The COUNSELOR-GENETIC will:
Performs routine counseling and analysis for genetics patients. Assumes responsibility for procedural and systems controls. Provides Physicians with accurate and reliable analytical results necessary for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Participates in educational and research projects/studies as needed.
Requirements:
• Board eligible or board certified in Genetic Counseling with a Master's Degree in Genetic Counseling from an accredited program.
• Must achieve board certification within one year of eligibility,
• New Jersey licensure within 4 months of employment and must maintain certification through the re-certification process and licensure while employed.
