We are seeking a psychologist specialized in Developmental Pediatrics to join our team at The Childrens Hospital.
Overview
- Conduct psychological and psychosocial evaluations of children, adolescents, and their caretakers in cases of child maltreatment and abuse.
- Consultation; crisis intervention counseling; and civil and criminal court testimony.
- Deliver educational training to community and state agencies on topics related to child maltreatment, abuse, and trauma.
As a state-designated childrens hospital, we offer many specialty services for children. We care for high-risk babies and seriously ill children in our Neonatal Intensive Care and Pediatric Intensive Care units. Our Child Life Program helps to educate and prepare children for their stay at Saint Peters, while our Pediatric Emergency Department can handle any injury or illness a child may have. At The Childrens Hospital at Saint Peters, we care for 9,000 inpatients and over 45,000 outpatients each year in our facilities and the Dorothy B. Hersh Pediatric Emergency Department.
