Maintenance
The Electrician I will:
Performs a variety of skilled electrical work including installation, maintenance, inspections and safety checks with minimal supervision to keep Hospital equipment and facilities in effective operating condition.
Requirements:
• Ability to read and comprehend complicated and detailed instructions.
• A comprehensive understanding of electrical equipment and operations normally acquired through an electrical apprentice program or similar on-the-job training and 3-5 years of related electrical experience.
• Ability to meet deadlines, to concentrate and pay attention to details.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and in a courteous manner with Hospital Personnel.
• Work requires prolonged standing, and the ability to walk, climb ladders, lift and carry objects, and heavy objects.
• Valid and in good standing driver’s license issued by the state of New Jersey preferred due to the possibility of driving a facility vehicle to our various locations.
