We are seeking a Neonatology Physician
to join one of our team.
Overview
Saint Peter’s University Hospital is
a non-profit, 478-bed acute care teaching hospital sponsored by the Roman
Catholic Diocese of Metuchen. Saint Peter’s brings the latest medical practices
and highly skilled professionals to the bedside. We employ more than 3,600
healthcare professionals and support personnel, and more than 1,000 doctors and
dentists are on staff at our hospital. We treat more than 23,000 inpatients and
more than 245,000 outpatients yearly.
The Children's Hospital at Saint Peter’s is a state-designated acute care
children’s hospital, which offers a full-range of pediatric specialized
healthcare services for newborns and children through young adulthood. The
Children’s Hospital at Saint Peter’s operates one of the largest, most advanced
neonatal intensive care units in the country. Our state-designated Regional
Perinatal Center is renowned throughout New Jersey for the exceptional level of
high-risk maternity and neonatal care provided Saint Peter’s Healthcare System
is one of New Jersey’s busiest and most diverse health systems. We are proud of
our continued Magnet designation, reflecting our commitment to nursing
excellence. The Children’s Hospital is home to multiple recognized centers of
excellence including The Regional Craniofacial Center, Regional Metabolic
Center, and Regional Child Protection Center. The Children’s Hospital has a
dedicated, newly designed pediatric emergency room with more than 23,000 visits
annually and a full range of medical and surgical pediatric subspecialty care.
The Children's Hospital is home to the region's top pediatric intensivists and
neonatologists and boasts a 54-bed neonatal ICU, an inpatient pediatric unit
with a dedicated epilepsy monitoring unit and a 14-bed pediatric ICU with
step-down.
The hospital is located in the historical city of New Brunswick and is
surrounded by welcoming communities, wonderful homes, excellent schools, and
quaint New Jersey towns. It is a 45-minute train ride to New York City, a
45-minute drive away from beautiful beaches, and an hour away from
Philadelphia, PA.

Requirements:
• Board certification or eligibility from the appropriate specialty or subspecialty board
• A Medical degree and the successful completion of ACGME or AOA residency
• Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital Liability insurance
• MD or DO license in the State of New Jersey
• CDS and DEA license required
