Radiology Diagnostic
The Radiology Technologist will :
- Prepare patient for radiographic procedure, as appropriate to the ages of the patients' growth and development through the life cycle factors (Neonates, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics).
- Prepare and operate imaging equipment, as appropriate to the ages of the patient's growth and development through the life cycle factors (Neonates, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics).
- Perform duties in accordance with the department's quality control program.
- Assist Radiologist and / or Radiology Resident during performance of X-Ray procedure, as appropriate to the ages of the patients' growth and development through the life cycle factors (Neonates, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics).
- Perform various clerical duties.
- Transport patients when requested.
- Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in field.
- Oversee Student Radiologic Technologist's activities when student is assigned to same work area.
- Assist Supervisor in orienting and training new employees.
- Maintain an orderly work environment.
