Grade 5 and 6 Math Teacher

Saint Theresa of Avila School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher. This is a full-time, contract, and salary-based teaching position. We are looking for a creative, hard-working individual who enjoys educating young minds! Responsibilities: - Create and administer lesson plans that guide students through daily learning activities - Oversee the classroom, keep it organized, and enforce rules to teach children proper behavior - Ensure high student performance by grading assignments, monitoring progress, and preparing students for standardized tests - Work with students individually to help them overcome learning challenges - Communicate with parents or guardians about their child's progress, and confer with other teachers, counselors, and administrators to resolve issues - Collaborate with teachers and administration to create innovative lesson plans, discuss concerns about student achievement or behavior, determine student progress and challenges, and offer support and encouragement If you are interested in this position, please email your resume to: mstephatos@staboston.org to apply today!
