Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a High School Physics Teacher at Saint Thomas' Episcopal School in Houston, TX. The High School Physics Teacher will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging physics lessons, assessing student understanding and progress, providing feedback and support to students, and attending school meetings and professional development sessions. Collaboration with other faculty members to ensure a comprehensive educational experience for students is also expected.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Physics and Education
- Ability to teach AP Physics, AP E&M and AP Mechanics
- Experience in NGSS and College Board Lesson Planning and Teaching
- Excellent Communication skills
- Ability to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Experience with teaching high school students
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Education, or related field
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and school community involvement
