- Astronomy
- Plan, schedule, and facilitate structured written examinations that align with curriculum standards, ensuring students are well-prepared and equipped for academic success.
- Implement differentiated instruction strategies to address diverse learning styles and abilities, utilizing flexible grouping methods to foster student engagement and personalized learning experiences.
- Design and administer both formative and summative assessments that effectively identify individual student needs, track academic progress, and inform instructional decisions to enhance learning outcomes.
- Establish and maintain a structured, engaging, and aesthetically enriching learning environment that supports students’ academic, social, emotional, and executive functioning development.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the school's learning management system, VeraCross, ensuring seamless communication and data tracking for student performance and progress.
- Uphold the professional code of conduct and adhere to school policies, demonstrating a commitment to the institution's mission and fostering a positive, respectful, and collaborative school culture.
- Leverage technology effectively, particularly Google Suite (Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets), to enhance instruction, streamline communication, and facilitate efficient workflow management.
- Actively participate in all faculty and staff meetings as well as required school events, including open houses, Spaghetti Supper, STEAM fest and the Fall Fair, contributing to the broader school community.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned, demonstrating flexibility, professionalism, and a commitment to supporting the school's goals and student success.
- Follow the professional code and policies of the school and conduct oneself in a way that promotes the mission of the school.
- Utilize Google Suite, in particular Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets.
- Attend all faculty and staff meetings and required special events (e.g., open houses, Spaghetti Supper, Fall Fair).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
