Position Title: Graduate Assistant for Women’s Lacrosse.
Reports to: Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach
Primary function: The GA will be responsible for assisting the head coach in the daily operations and overall administration of the varsity athletic program. They will provide an excellent, transformative student-athlete experience, demonstrate positive progress in competitive standing in the Presidents Athletic Conference and recruit student-athletes to the college
Required Qualifications: Collegiate playing experience, managing, or student coaching experience and demonstrated leadership.
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Essential Duties
Frequent nights and weekends; frequent work outdoors, often in adverse weather conditions; must be able to lift at least 25 pounds; must be able to sit and stand for extended periods.

Essential Duties
- Assist head coach in practice organization and game day coaching.
- Lead training and practice sessions, ensuring that all guidelines and standards are maintained
- Assist head coach with all phases of recruiting: generating contact lists, tournament preparation, follow-up contacts, scheduling of campus visits, and promoting the program via social media
- Assist with administrative duties as directed by the head coach: academic supervision of team members, conditioning/offseason programs, travel arrangements, meals and supplies and other duties as assigned by the head coach.
- Assist with scouting and film study to present and show to the team.
- Assist with programs budget and develop and implement fund raising programs to supplement operating funds.
- Attend and be involved in coach’s meetings and implement strategies resulting from these meetings
- Assigned responsibilities within the daily operations and overall administration of the varsity sport program
- Performs other duties and special projects that may be assigned within the College
