GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Monitors, maintains and repairs all aspects of plumbing installation and fire suppression systems and components, repairs, including preventive maintenance.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs daily plumbing related work to ensure completion of all tasks; performs scheduled preventive maintenance. (70%)
• Responds to service and emergency calls regarding any facility plumbing problem. (25%)
• Must demonstrate personal accountability for knowledge and application of DOH, Joint Commission and ICRA requirements. (5%)
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

• Allegheny County Plumber's License
• Experience as a licensed plumber working with commercial or institutional plumbing systems

Preferred

• Certification in Medical Gas and Back Flow
• Stationary Engineer's License
