SummaryThe Communication Program at Saint Xavier University, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track open rank professor position in Communication to join our dynamic undergraduate major which focuses on strategic, media, and sport communication. Although the area of expertise is open, we are particularly interested in candidates who can support and expand coursework in the strategic communication emphasis. The ability to teach a variety of strategic communication courses in social media, leadership, and other organizational communication topics is desired. All faculty in the department also support our university wide general education course in public speaking.
Start date is in the Fall of 2025. Rank depends on credentials and years of experience; salary commensurate with experience.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesTeach 12 credit hours each semester in communication courses related to one's area of expertiseEstablish a program of research leading to peer-reviewed publications and presentationsMentor undergraduate students in student-faculty researchProvide service to the program, college, and university
