Summary
The Videographer is in charge of the entire library of photo / image / video content that will be published by the Department of Student Media, both online and internally. She / he will attend official SXU events to take pictures, shoot video, and maintain the archive of The Department of Student Media.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- In charge of all picture content for Student Media including : The Xavierite and WXAV 88.3FM
Attends SXU events to supply pictures for publication in The Xavierite.
Collaborates with student djs and writers in shooting interviews with potential guests
Publishes video and photography across Student Media's various social media platforms
Leading member of the Entertainment Committee.
Has experience utilizing the Adobe Cloud Suite, specifically : Photoshop, Premier, InDesign, and Illustrator.
Attend weekly general staff meeting
Maintain weekly-posted office hours (4 hours per week).
Qualifications
Experience in photography and video production preferred.
