Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor CNC or laser cutting equipment to meet production specifications.
- Establish proper stop locations and adjust the laser beam focal point for optimal cutting performance.
- Perform accurate set-ups for cutting operations based on job requirements.
- Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality and report any defects or questionable conditions to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with CNC or laser equipment.
- Basic knowledge of metals and their properties.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and computer literate.
- Strong ability to detect and resolve production issues quickly.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb throughout the workday.
- Ability to frequently lift and move items over 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in metalworking or manufacturing is a plus.
