The machinist will maintain and edit CNC programs, provide support, troubleshoot and optimize the performance of CNC machines. They are also responsible for ensuring the quality of the finished product and adhering to safety protocols.Responsibilities:- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Program, setup, and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Continuously improve machining processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Train and mentor junior machinists
Qualifications:- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Experience with CNC machines is a plus
- Knowledge of CAM software is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in a related field is a plus
