Responsibilities:- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Setup and operate plastic extrusion machines to produce precision parts
- Perform routine maintenance on plastic extrusion machines
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Continuously improve plastic extrusion processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Experience with programming and operating CNC plastic extrusion machines
- Ability to work with a variety of materials including plastic and rubber
- Experience with precision measuring instruments
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with color matching and material handling
- Experience with secondary operations such as assembly and packaging
Qualifications:- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Plastic Extrusion Machine Operator
- Experience with setup, operation, and maintenance of plastic extrusion machines
- Strong understanding of plastic extrusion processes and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
