Monthly Sanitation Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. This is a once a month cleaning position for a childcare. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy, organized, and presentable. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients, employees, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables properly in designated containers.
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or needs to management.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines while using cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed in a timely manner to meet scheduled requirements.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning activities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina; ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Must be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to company policies regarding cleanliness and safety.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 10 per week
