Job Description

Our Team is seeking a self-managed salesperson who is passionate about selling, loves to be challenged, genuinely cares about their clients, and wants to win. Simply put you will prospect and visit potential customers, offer solutions, and close the deal to drive customer satisfaction and company revenue.

Does this sound like you?

  • 5-plus years of experience as a Sales Account Manager in the industrial automation systems sector serving automotive OE and Tier 1 clients in Vehicle Assembly and the ICE and EV propulsion segments.
  • Experience in Powertrain or Wheel and Tire projects is preferred.
  • Knowledge of industrial automations processes, applications and solutions used in automotive manufacturing production systems such as body-in-white (BIW), battery assembly, end-of-line production testing (NVH), and general assembly of ICE and EV axle/gearbox applications.
  • Strong customer management, commercial business strategy and presentation skills.
  • Excellent follow-up and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with CRMs (example Salesforce).
  • Ability and willingness to travel 30-50% to domestic and international customer base.
  • Able to speak in front of large groups.
  • Willingness to work early or late depending on customer or project schedules.

Job Functions:

  • Proven Self-Starter with the ability to perform at a high level, with limited supervision, in a remote capacity.
  • Demonstrate ability to develop new business relationships.
  • Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers.
  • Prospect and contact potential customers.
  • Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline.
  • Resolve customer inquiries.
  • Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of our latest developments.
  • Strategize with the Team to expand our brand.
  • Create sales material to present to customers.
  • Pro-actively conduct research on potential client and industry marketing opportunities.
  • Contract negotiation.
  • Ability to work with multiple business units to acquire operational knowledge and execute departmental initiatives.
  • Ability to establish new product opportunities with customer base.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms.
  • Ability to build rapport with and maintain trust with our clients.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Keep to the deadline and detail oriented.
  • Clean, well-spoken, and a professional personality.
