Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our electrical company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and related construction tasks, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship. The Mason will be responsible for building and repairing structures, ensuring that all work meets industry standards.

Duties

• Perform masonry work including laying bricks, blocks, and stones in various structures.
• Operate heavy equipment as needed for specific projects.
• Install metal stud framing and drywall in accordance with project specifications.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials.
• Conduct caulking and sealing tasks to ensure structural integrity.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople in frame carpentry and installation projects.
• Execute hardscape projects including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience in masonry or related construction fields.
• Proficiency in heavy equipment operation is preferred.
• Familiarity with metal stud framing, drywall installation, caulking, and frame carpentry.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• On call
