What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanic - PLC position at SAK Construction?
Affholder Construction has an immediate opening for a Mechanic in Austin, TX. Affholder is one of the fastest growing tunnel contractors in the US. We provide the opportunity to work alongside and learn from some of the most talented and experienced professionals in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs on a variety of vehicles and construction equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment
- Program, operate, service and maintain PLCs, Programmable Logic Controllers
- Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems and industrial automation systems
- Stay up-to-date on current technologies
Qualifications:
- Experience with PLC, minimum 2 years
- Experience with installation, programming, and maintenance of PLC
- Knowledge of on-highway and off-road construction equipment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols.
