Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser to join our team in a vibrant restaurant environment. The Busser plays a crucial role in ensuring that our dining area is clean, organized, and welcoming for our guests. This position involves working closely with servers and kitchen staff to provide exceptional service and maintain high standards of cleanliness and efficiency in the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests have finished their meals to prepare for the next guests.
- Assist servers by refilling drinks, delivering food, and providing any necessary support during service.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces as needed.
- Ensure that all utensils, glassware, and dishes are properly cleaned and stored in the kitchen.
- Help set up tables for new guests by arranging table settings according to restaurant standards.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest needs or concerns.
- Follow all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe dining environment.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Attention to detail in cleaning tasks and maintaining a tidy restaurant environment.
- Experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred but not required.
