Host/Host
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
- Assist in seating guests during peak hours
- Answer phone calls and take reservations
- Manage waitlists and estimate wait times for guests
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth dining experience for guests
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and courtesy
Experience:
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Strong phone etiquette and ability to handle high call volumes
- Ability to build positive guest relations and provide exceptional guest services
- Knowledge of food service procedures and basic understanding of menu items
- Willingness to assist in various tasks to help the overall functioning of the restaurant
