In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services. Your expertise in automotive repair and your ability to communicate effectively will ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service. You will be responsible for managing service appointments, providing estimates, and advising customers on necessary repairs and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services, repairs, and maintenance options.
- Prepare accurate service estimates and transmit them to customers.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services.
- Manage service appointments and follow up with customers regarding their vehicle status.
- Maintain a clean and organized service area.
- Assist in the sales of automotive products and services.
- Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records in the system.
- Stay updated on industry trends, including diesel engine repair, air brake systems, and alignment services.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar role at a dealership is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes, including oil changes and general maintenance.
- Familiarity with service writing and customer service best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
- Mechanic experience is a plus; understanding of diesel engine repair is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
