The Corporate Strategy team plays a critical role in shaping the future of the organization and has been at the forefront of some of Saks OFF 5TH's boldest and most transformative decisions.Reporting to the VP, Corporate Strategy, the Sr. Manager, Corporate Strategy & Business Operations will lead efforts in shaping our organizational trajectory through visionary leadership, strategic acumen, and operational excellence. This role is responsible for leading the year-round strategic planning process and facilitating continuous dialogue across the organization to continuously evolve Saks OFF 5TH’s strategic vision and monitor the organization’s progress.This position offers unparalleled exposure to senior executives and provides a 360-degree view of the company through close collaboration with cross-functional leaders. This role often serves as a launchpad for unique opportunities & new roles within the organization.The Role SpecificsSupport the development and evolution of Saks OFF 5TH’s visionary strategic plan, collaborating closely with executive leadership to set the direction for the company's growth and differentiationManage the strategic planning process and act as a trusted advisor to the business’ leadership team and relevant stakeholders during strategy formulation, development, and executionCollaborate with the Finance & Corporate Planning team to develop a long-range plan and develop agile financial strategies that support Saks OFF 5TH’s strategic planLead the development of executive leadership content for leadership meetings (e.g., Board of Directors, Executive Leadership Team, investment community)Lead the preparation and presentation of comprehensive reports, insights, and recommendations to the executive leadership team and key stakeholdersHold business leaders accountable to deploy strategic advancements on time and on budget while achieving measurable milestones, this includes helping run various leadership meetings to drive accountabilityProvide insights and recommendations based on market intelligence to drive strategic decision-makingDrive a culture of innovation, continuously seeking opportunities for differentiation and growthThe Ideal Candidate : Strategic Mindset : Approaches executive discussions with a strategic and results-oriented mindset, focusing on critical issues and key decisions that drive business impact. Experience with Looker or other like business intelligence systems preferred.Relevant Experience : 4 years of management consulting or internal strategy experience required. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits), dependent on the position offered.
