As a Manager, you will play a key role in enhancing the in-store experience and establishing the brand within the industry through partnerships and other initiatives. This role bridges operational excellence, client engagement, and strategic partnerships to position our art offerings as a top-tier luxury service.

The starting salary for this position is $65,000, Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include market, skills, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for bonus and long-term incentive compensation awards.

- Collaborate with brick-and-mortar store teams to ensure associates and top stylists are equipped with the tools and training to sell artwork effectively.
- Build and implement training programs to help store associates and stylists better serve top-tier clientele, with a focus on art education, sales techniques, and personalized service.
- Oversee maintenance and upkeep of in-store galleries, ensuring all artwork is displayed professionally, in good condition, and accompanied by accurate, up-to-date information.
- Handle one-off operational requests with professionalism and discretion, ensuring white-glove service for high-value transactions.
- Lead initiatives to expand the art business beyond owned stores and online platforms, with a focus on forging partnerships with industry leaders, galleries, and art institutions.
- Develop and execute innovative revenue-driving opportunities such as pop-ups, art fairs, events, and other activations aligned with the luxury art market.
- Serve as the primary liaison for external partners, ensuring smooth collaboration and mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Operate and manage store gallery locations when needed.
- Travel as required for events, pop-ups, fairs, and other art-related initiatives, representing the department store's art division and ensuring a seamless execution of projects.
- Strong background in art sales, gallery operations, or luxury retail, with a proven ability to drive revenue and client satisfaction.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to train and motivate teams.
- Experience managing partnerships and executing events, with a track record of successful collaborations.
- Flexibility to travel and adapt to the fast-paced nature of events and pop-ups.
- Passion for art and an understanding of the luxury market, with the ability to translate that passion into actionable business strategies.
