What This Position Is All About:

Saks OFF 5TH WBDC is looking for Material Handlers to work within a rapidly growing distribution center. You will be part of a dynamic, fast-moving, team, playing an integral part in the overall shipping and receiving operation. Multiple shifts available to individuals based on business needs.

The Material Handler is an integral part of the distribution operation. Essentially, you are responsible for making sure that merchandise reaches the designated end-destination in a timely fashion.

Duties:

• Receipt and distribution of inbound freight.

• Retrieval and loading of outbound freight to stores.

• Move/wrap pallets.

• Clearing jams within the facility.

• Trash removal and recycling.

• Assist in discarding used processing materials.

• Assist in inbound/outbound processing materials.

Qualifications:

• Attention to detail.

• Proficiency to use and/or learn a RF Scanner.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Flexibility to work in various areas of operations.

• Ability to stand for an entire shift and life/pull up to but not limited to 50 lbs.
