What This Position is All About:
The Merchandise Assistant works within the Buying team on a variety of tasks, processes, and communication. The Merchandise Assistant primarily assists the Buying office with go-to-market preparation, tactical vendor communications, price changes, and ad hoc analysis support. The position requires frequent communication with other members of the buying team as well as with vendors, distribution centers, stores and customers.

As The Merchandise Assistant you will:
PO Maintenance and troubleshooting (Vendor Tickets, UPC requests, order tracking)
Weekly reporting and recaps (e.g. Running best seller reports, assist with go-to-market prep)
Transcribe vendor line sheets into order buy sheets
Manage in-bound and out-bound receipts
Support the POS process by working with buyer to determine markdown strategy
Additional responsibilities as required

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $60,000 and $62,500/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits), dependent on the position offered.
