Role Summary
As a SwissLog Clerk, you will utilize your skills to support Saks Fulfillment Operations by optimizing uptime and floor health. You will have the opportunity to learn about the Swisslog robotics system and how it is utilized in a dynamic fulfillment environment, as well as strengthen your communication skills with your teammates and leaders. You will recover AGVs that are in an error status and operate the Control Desk that controls the SwissLog Floor which is key in the overall operation within the Fulfillment Center.
Hours: Schedule Weekend: Hours - 5:45am- 6:15pm

Role Description
- Promote a safe working environment by following all Swisslog Floor Access and Trailer Securement and Release (TSR) protocols
- Document automated guided vehicle (AGV) errors, escalating to Maintenance when appropriate
- Update the Swisslog Hourly Updates tracker in a timely manner
- Record Amnesty as it is found, ensuring that all merchandise is urgently handed over to ICQA
- Manipulate the automated system via SynQ’s two interfaces: CarryDirector (Orders) and CarryManager (AGVs)
- Respond effectively to all AGV errors (blacklists) and emergencies, minimizing downtime of the system
- Respond effectively to all AGV errors and emergencies, minimizing your time within the grid
- Comply with all facility safety procedures, maintaining housekeeping and safety of work areas
- Audit workstation functionality on a daily basis, reporting damage and/or malfunction
- Protect inventory accuracy by reporting damaged or missing racks or storage compartments
- Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
- Respond to and act upon special requests from management as related to Floor Health (e.g. FOD walks, node replacements, etc.)
- Maintain a positive working relationships across all of the Saks Operations facility, including Asset Protection, Vendors’ and Carriers’ personnel
- Handle the appropriate Carrier paperwork for pickups and deliveries
- Monitor the Print and Apply system, reloading labels and opening IT tickets through JIRA or sending maintenance requests when necessary
- Open tickets with the Swisslog Global Help Desk when recovery is beyond onsite personnel’s training or ability
- 1 year of experience working with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours
- Climb ladders up to 30 feet
