AS400 Programmer (onsite)

Position: AS400 Programmer
Duration: 12 months contract
Location: Cincinnati, OH (Onsite)

JOB DESCRIPTION

SKILLS NEEDED :

Programming on AS400 technologies viz RPG 400 RPGLE CLLE SQL

Define Test Plan, perform unit, and string testing

Provide support for User Acceptance Testing Post Implementation

Resolve issues reported by users based on criticality of the impact on internal and external customers

Extensive knowledge on AS 400 platform includes RPG 400 RPGILE CLLE SQL 400 SQLRPGLE and DB2 400 is necessary Hands-on Experience on change management tools TURNOVER TAATOOL HAWKEYE

Experience on Web Service development on AS 400 platform is preferred

Working experience on Integrated File System Net Working concepts on AS 400 platform

Demonstrated experience in application development complex code development application testing and component design

Experience on Travel Domain is an added advantage

Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Good understanding of technology architectural concepts

Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to a nontechnical audience

Ability to create technical documentation

Strong teamplayer and selfstarted attitude Competencies Technical Skills Known

Professional development experience on AS 400 platform

Solid unders tanding of programming concepts

Bachelor s or Masters Degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering MS or related field
