Job Description:

We are seeking a Data Analyst to translate complex data into actionable insights that inform strategic business decisions, as well as collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs, develop analytical solutions, and present findings. This position will be full-time and hybrid.

What You'll Do

• Ability to learn HASTUS to provide ongoing support to the Bus and Rail Scheduling Operations teams.
• Review system-specific data elements and work with stakeholders to define and document interface requirements to implement new system interfaces.
• Work with subject matter experts and system admins to document existing system interfaces and data flows within the enterprise.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into specific analytical tasks.
• Design, develop, and execute complex data
• Collect, clean, and prepare large datasets for analysis, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Perform statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modelling to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize data and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Present complex data analysis results clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactively identify opportunities for data-driven improvements and contribute to the development of data-driven strategies.
• Mentor and guide junior analysts, sharing knowledge and best practices
• Stay up to date with the latest data analysis techniques and tools.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of data analysis processes and methodologies

What You'll Need

• Eight (8) plus years of experience and/or expertise with strategic IT solutions and hands-on experience in software development
• Eight (8) plus years of experience and/or expertise in solving complex IT issues.
• Five (5) plus years of experience and/or expertise with programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, SQL, Oracle Two.
• Five (5) plus years of experience and/or expertise with familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, UNIX, and databases
• Five (5) plus years of experience and/or expertise with a solid understanding of statistical concepts and methods
• Five (5) plus years of experience and/or expertise with data mining and predictive modelling techniques
• Five (5) plus years of experience and/or expertise with data visualization and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data in a simple and understandable way
• Five (5) plus years of experience and/or expertise with HASTUS.
