JOB DESCRIPTION
SKILLS NEEDED :
We are seeking a Data Scientist with expertise in predictive modeling to drive advanced analytics in the logistics and 3PL trailers domain. This role will focus on building and optimizing machine learning models to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, refine, and deploy predictive models tailored to logistics and trailer operations.
Leverage data science techniques to improve forecasting, routing, and cost optimization.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate models into business workflows.
Utilize Databricks (preferred) and other analytics tools for data processing and model deployment.
Collaborate with the Director of AI and Analytics to enhance existing models, including the rolled-out costing model.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in building and deploying predictive models.
Strong background in logistics, 3PL, and trailer operations (must-have).
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML frameworks.
Knowledge of Databricks is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
