Job Description:
We are seeking a ServiceNow Techno-Functional Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of ServiceNow solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of ServiceNow s technical capabilities combined with the ability to align solutions with business needs. The ideal candidate will provide strategic direction, oversee system integrations, and ensure the platform is effectively leveraged to drive business transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Responsibilities:
- Architect and design scalable, high-performance solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership across multiple ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SecOps, CSM, and GRC.
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices for development, configuration, and customization.
- Lead integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise applications using REST, SOAP, MID Servers, and third-party APIs.
- Develop and oversee data migration strategies and system upgrades to ensure minimal disruption.
- Manage and enforce ServiceNow security and compliance standards, including role-based access control (RBAC).
Functional Responsibilities:
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process automation, workflow optimisation, and digital transformation.
- Lead workshops and discovery sessions to define business processes and align with ITIL, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.
- Provide governance, ensure platform adoption, and establish standards for ServiceNow implementation.
- Conduct impact analysis for platform enhancements and changes.
- Lead ServiceNow roadmap planning, aligning technology with long-term business goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in ServiceNow architecture and development.
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs), UI policies, business rules, and Flow Designer.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations using APIs, LDAP, SSO, and ITOM Discovery.
- Proven experience designing and implementing ServiceNow workflows, catalogue items, and automation.
- Strong understanding of ITIL principles and ServiceNow s role in ITSM, ITOM, and business processes.
- Ability to lead discussions with C-level executives, product owners, and developers.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in one or more modules.
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Experience with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices for ServiceNow.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and enterprise IT ecosystems.
