We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. The Dishwasher will be responsible for cleaning dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. This role is essential for maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchenware quickly and efficiently.
- Ensure all items are cleaned to a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Sort and organize dishes, glassware, and utensils for proper storage.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, countertops, and sinks.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables according to company procedures.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of dishwashing supplies and notify the supervisor of low stock.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food prep duties as needed.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to, including proper handling of chemicals and sanitation practices.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely service.
Qualifications:
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items as needed.
