Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Franchise Business Consultant located in Hammond, LA. The Franchise Business Consultant will be responsible for business planning, franchising operations management, P&L management, and management consulting, ensuring seamless operations and profitable growth for Salad Station franchise locations.

- Provide support (or be the liaison to the proper corporate support department) and guidance in all areas of operations, training, marketing, purchasing, development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure franchisees obtain business excellence through regular support visits, reviews, store assessments, action planning and detailed follow-up.
Work side-by-side with franchisees, managers and team members to understand their operations, gain their respect, and understand areas to coach and train on. Plans store visit and support schedule to maximize effectiveness in achieving department goals and brand goals.
Assist Franchisees in analyzing their business opportunities and areas for improvement through short and long-term planning.
- Review, analyze and assess KPI (Key Performance Indicators)
- QA/Store Evaluation Results Review
- Guest Feedback/Mystery Shop results review and Guest complaint resolution.
- Sales and Sales Trend Review
- Financial and Breakeven Review
Enforcement of the Franchise Agreement through thorough documentation of all franchise interactions pertaining to Brand Compliance issues. Document activities, visits and contacts with Franchisees including:
- Store Visits, store assessments, phone meetings, online meetings
- Action plans
- Email communications
- Key phone communications
- Maintain a detailed Outlook calendar of completed and planned activities
Serve as liaison between the Corporate Office and Franchisees
- Deliver company rollouts and objectives and ensure they are communicated to all franchisees.
- Facilitate communications between corporate departments and Franchisees.
Work on other assigned projects and tasks of a growing brand including in the areas of training, new store opening, IT, marketing, and administration as needed.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Servant Leader who is willing to jump and do whatever it takes in order to teach and coach franchisees.
- Guest service mentality; has a genuine desire to serve the franchisee and store guests.
- High level of business acumen. Ability to read a P&L and POS reports and translate the data into actionable performance tactics.
- Forms strong working relationships within team and with franchisees.
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
- Energetic Self-starter who works independently with minimal supervision.
- Maintains a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations.
- Manages multiple projects and timelines with a sense of urgency and follow through.
- High level of organization and planning to manage work and store visit schedule.
- Identifies additional tasks to be completed and willingly assists others.
- Follows direction with focused attention and takes initiative to complete.
- Maintains minimum working hours of 8am-5pm. Willing to assist franchisees with help after hours as needed.
- Strong computer skills required, i.e. Microsoft Office and other technology needed in franchise support.
- 2 years multi-unit restaurant or franchise experience preferred.
- College degree in Business or other pertinent field preferred.
Requirements:
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work some long days (up to 10 hrs on store visits and new store openings)
- Work in the field visiting franchise stores – over 75%, with some overnight travel.
