Documentum Developer

Be part of the nation’s only repository for the disposal of nuclear waste known as Transuranic (TRU) waste.

Salado Isolation Mining Contractors, managing and operating contractor of the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) is currently seeking a qualified individual to serve as a Documentum Developer to join our team located in Carlsbad, NM.

The Documentum Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise content management applications, which involves tasks like creating custom workflows, configuring repositories, building custom business objects, integrating with third-party systems, and ensuring optimal performance within the Documentum environment; essentially translating business requirements into technical solutions using Documentum APIs and tools like DFC, DQL, and Webtop/DA. The successful candidate will have extensive working experience with Content Management, Docbase Security, User Management, Alias Sets, Workflow, DFC, Client, Documentum Methods, Jobs Management, Taskspace. Duties include:

• Use tools like Documentum Administrator (DA), Documentum Application Builder (DAB), Documentum Application Installer (DI), Composer, Workflow Manager, and Business Process Manager.
• Configure and customize OpenText Records Manager using WDK framework.
• Create and update custom Documentum code to meet user requirements for custom jobs, workflow tasks, etc.
• Create department specific reports using Documentum and SQL Server Reporting Services.
• Experience with RHEL 6, RHEL 7, Java, JavaScript, JSON, XML, JBoss and SQL
• Define new architectures and drive independent projects from an architectural standpoint.
• Perform Business Analyst function to interface with customers to determine desired configuration/functionality of new and existing Documentum instances.
• Provide end user support regarding Documentum applications.

Exempt Grade Level(s) (32-34)

Minimum Requirements: These requirements must be met to be considered for this posting. Uploaded resumes and applications are the means of determination.

• Bachelor’s degree with ten (10) years of related experience, or
• Associate's degree with fourteen (14) years of related experience, or
• High School Diploma or Equivalency with eighteen (18) years of related experience is required.
• Must have strong software architecture & development experience.

Must be at least 18 years of age; U.S. citizenship is required except in limited circumstances. See DOE Order 472.2 for additional information.

Higher education attainment than listed acceptable per internal level identifiers of accompanying years of experience.

Preferred Requirements:

• Seven (7) years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks
• Seven (7) years of experience in Documentum and two (2) or more years of Documentum D2 Development and support
• Administrator experience with OpenText Documentum D2 4.x, DFC/Server version 6.x, 7.x and above, 16.x or 20.x

Minimum salary $94,706 per year of a larger salary range --the specific salary offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors, particularly the candidate’s relevant experience and education.
