POSITION OBJECTIVE |
The Retail Associate must possess effective customer service skills and maintain positive interaction with guests and customers. The associate will spend a large portion of their work day communicating with customers, providing information regarding product benefits and ensuring that guests/customers are satisfied with their experience in the store. The associate represents the employers’ store and or specific product brands.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS |
- Keeping the work environment neat and clean.
- Ensuring that the Gift Boutique is clean, tidy, and presentable and the open and close of each day
• Ensuring that all products or merchandise are placed in their respective areas.
• Ensuring that all stock is replenished.
• Helping customers locate merchandise or find suitable alternatives.
• Participating in periodic team meetings.
• Actively engaged in developing more effective customer service skills.
• Being knowledgeable about the benefits and uses of each product.
• Communicating with managers regarding customer concerns and employee matters.
• Greeting customers with a positive demeanor.
• Maintaining an enthusiastic and upbeat personality.
• Providing honest and positive feedback to customers regarding the best products that
fit the customers’ expectations.

- Maintain Retail Bank
- Utilize computer for all transactions
- Be aware of resort layout and surroundings for minor guest inquires ie. Local shops
- Answer the phone promptly and use the guest’s name throughout the phone conversation
- Maintain eye contact when addressing external and internal guests
- Develop ability to work without constant supervision and remain at assigned post for extended periods of time
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE |
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
REQUIREMENTS |
- Must be detailed-oriented and have the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment
- Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service/professionalism skills
- Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality
