What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Coordinator position at Salaried/Skilled Trades Careers at NSG Group?
Purpose: This position will work within NA Automotive to oversee manufacturing reporting accuracy and offer 3K OCS guidance to the sites. They will also support Engineering activities related to Capital Expenditures, GM Covisint and Quality Reporting while also coordinating New Model Development orders.
Essential Functions:
Support NA Auto Regional Executives:
- Support planning of Regional events with Regional Executives
- Manage regional SharePoint and P21 distribution lists
- Coordinate travel arrangements as needed
- Complete and communicate weekly whereabouts for Regional Leadership
Oversee Manufacturing Reporting Accuracy, Timeliness, and support to sites:
- Collaborate with Site and Group function leadership to insure timely reporting of ME metrics to global functions
- Complete weekly and monthly flash reports and distribute as required
- Complete Honda SIMS data upload with sites on a monthly basis
- Track status of all reports for Global ME (GMMP, 5S, Quick Kaizen, Monthly Results)
Guide and support NA OE sites with 3K OCS guidance:
- Provide training sessions as required to site OCS Champions
- Support CIP system to insure projects are loaded correctly for regional tracking to 3K’s
- Coordinate and populate site OCS dashboards
- Promote and monitor OCS sharing
- Promote and monitor site Quick Kaizen activities to the region
- Handle communications and planning schedules for the 3k OCS activities
Engineering Support:
- Act as admin for GM Covisint and Supply Power site for NSG
- Coordinate input and approval routings for CEP’s in appropriate systems
- Coordinate capital tracking with Finance team
- Work with New Model Validation and Quality Manager to complete Homologation reporting and applications
Commercial
- Owner of the Development Order (D.O.) distribution list
- Submit Development Orders into SharePoint system (attends D.O. meetings)
- Upload GM Contracts into GM contract file
- SAP Hana price audit (Skew audit in HANA)
- Function as the backup to entering price data in HANA
Northwood (Plant 21) Support
- Northwood Pool Vehicle Management (scheduling, maintenance, & driver eligibility)
- Northwood office supply ordering
Overall

Qualifications Required:
- High school diploma
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Experience with reporting software
- Proficient in Excel, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate at various levels within the organization and across SBU’s
Qualifications Desired:
- 2-3 years' experience within NSG/Pilkington
- Experience with SAP
- Experience with project tracking and report development
- Associate or Bachelor degree in related field
Salary Range: $57,972 - $86,964
