Primary Duties:
- The EHS Intern is responsible for the understanding and execution of NSG Group’s EHS systems and processes, providing direct support to the EHS Group Leader and EHS Specialist.
- Perform raw materials analysis to determine dolomite decrepitation results at the Plant #21 lab.
- Perform audits, inspections, maintain records and support report generation.
- Serve the production and maintenance teams by supporting EHS improvement matters, related to air emissions, water and wastewater discharge, waste management, and OSHA standards compliance.
- Complete and file required inspections, audits, reports, logs, databases, forms, and documents to maintain a controlled EHS documentation system.

- The EHS Intern reports to the EHS Group Leader.
Qualifications Required:
- College of Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior Status in a two or four-year engineering degree program
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Good PC skills, familiar with Microsoft Office
- Observant of Manufacturing Safety Needs
- Familiar with lab practices
Qualifications Desired:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
- Hands-on experience with machinery and equipment
Working Hours per week:
- Co-op = 40 hours/week
- Non-co-op = 12-24 hours/week
