What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Sustainability Data Analyst position at Salaried/Skilled Trades Careers at NSG Group?
Purpose:
This role supports the Regional Sustainability Director and NSG sites in the North America & Solar sites in Southeast Asia (NA Sites), to develop systems for gathering, analyzing, and validating internal and external data related to Environmental, Health & Safety, Sustainability (EHS&S) reporting requirements regionally and globally.
Essential Functions:
- Develop systems and procedures to streamline the gathering, analysis, and validation of EHS&S data for the North America region and NA Sites across multiple data platforms.
- Develop and implement data audit programs to ensure valid EHS&S reporting metrics.
- Serve as the document control specialist for NA Sustainability documents.
- Work with site EHS Managers to ensure timely reporting of EHS&S metrics.
- Support and/or provide EHS&S reporting for customer requests, Group EHS&S reporting, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, Carbon Disclosure Project, EcoVadis, Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), or other requested by the Regional or Group Sustainability Director(s).
- Coordinate the collection of EHS&S site data to report and communicate on progress toward the NSG group’s EHS&S objectives and to provide regional input to EHS&S reporting processes.
- Cleanse & reconcile data sources from various systems across all business lines to produce clear reports and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Coordinate with NSG Leadership Teams, Customer Support Representatives, and the Global sustainability function to respond to customer ESG surveys and requests in a timely manner and consistent with other Group External Reports.
- Create EHS&S training materials to assist NA sites, as requested by the NA Sustainability Director.
- Work with the Group Health & Safety Director and Group Sustainability Director to improve the digitalization of EHS&S statistics and metrics.
- Assist the NA Sustainability Director in the implementation and startup of new systems.
- Serve as the internal resource to train new users to the data systems used for EHS&S data platforms for NA Sites.
- Adherence to NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct and its Values and Principles
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Scope/Dimensions:
- This position routinely interacts with NSG Group Engineering and Sustainability teams, along with Procurement, Plant Managers, EHS Group Leaders, Program Managers and with external contacts such as raw material suppliers, service suppliers, etc.

Qualifications Required:
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and well organized with the ability to a build positive working relationships within a diverse multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary and multinational environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- Strong analytical capability & willingness to take a hands-on approach to solve problems.
- Experience using Microsoft tools or other digital tools to gather and analyze data.
- Limited travel may be required.
Other Requirements:
- Must have a valid drivers license and/or the ability to travel to NA sites.
Salary Range: $68,016.00 to $102,024.00 USD
