What You'll Be Doing:
As a Land Surveyor/Crew Chief, you will play a key role in executing daily land surveys and organizing data for our post-survey processing team. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing surveys such as:
- Residential boundary surveys
- Topographic surveys
- ALTA/NSPS land title surveys
- Construction staking
- Managing and maintaining survey job files.
- Using advanced tools like Robotic Total Stations and GPS Rovers to ensure precise results.
What You Bring:
- 5 years of land surveying experience.
- Proficiency in working with Robotic Total Stations and GPS Rovers.
- Ability to work independently as a one-man survey crew.
- A valid driver's license.
- Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions and transporting equipment (up to 40 pounds).
- Having a Surveyor-in-Training (SIT) certification in Illinois is a plus!
Work Environment:
- 90% fieldwork: You’ll spend most of your time in the field, running surveys and working on diverse projects.
- Collaborative office environment: Work closely with the President and our PLS team to ensure project success.
