What are the responsibilities and job description for the DOD SkillBridge- CADD Technician - Internship position at Salas O'Brien?
Core Competencies:
§ Works from a detailed, but not “to scale” sketches.
§ Produces graphs, charts, overlays, simple isometric and perspective drawings using CADD systems.
§ Understands how to use all of the drafting media (i.e., computer, etc.).
§ Learns the firm’s style of preparing drawings and the firm’s standards.
§ Learns the firm’s system of filing drawings and keeps files in order.
§ Accepts direction and supervision and must work well with others.
§ Accepts constructive criticism.
Qualifications:
§ Knowledge of CADD Systems, specifically Revit, preferred
§ Minimum of high school or GED diploma.
§ Completion of relevant certificate program or associate’s degree (BIM, Designing / Drafting) required.
§ Computer knowledgeable.
