The Mid-level Plumbing Engineer/ Designer focuses primarily on the design of building related projects, including hotels, apartment buildings, retail/commercial spaces, healthcare, and educational facilities using Revit and AutoCAD software.

Job Summary
The Mid-level Plumbing Engineer/ Designer focuses primarily on the design of building related projects, including hotels, apartment buildings, retail/commercial spaces, healthcare, and educational facilities using Revit and AutoCAD software.
General Duties
- Design plumbing systems for various commercial and healthcare buildings
- Develop system design calculations and select equipment for use in buildings
- Prepare detailed design documents
- Write/edit technical specifications
- Research prevailing Codes related to specific project compliance
- Coordinate work with other disciplines
- Participate in site surveys to determine and document existing conditions
- Provide construction administration services
- Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, and MS Office
- Familiarity with codes, standards and design guidelines
- Excellent work ethic and attitude
- Good communication and time management skills
- Interpersonal communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred)
- 3 years of experience in this or a related field
