Duties And Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Scheduling: Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and timelines. Track project milestones and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Coordination and Communication: Serve as a liaison between project stakeholders, including team members, clients, and vendors. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across project teams.
- Documentation Management: Prepare, organize, and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
- Budget and Resource Tracking: Monitor project budgets and resource allocation. Assist in tracking expenses and ensuring projects remain within financial constraints.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and issues. Assist in developing and implementing mitigation strategies and action plans.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule and coordinate project meetings, including team meetings, client meetings, and progress reviews. Prepare meeting agendas and follow-up on action items.
- Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular project status reports to stakeholders. Highlight progress, risks, and any deviations from the project plan.
- Support Project Managers: Provide administrative and logistical support to project managers, including preparing reports, tracking project progress, and handling day-to-day operational tasks.
- Other Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., Project Management Professional, Certified Associate in Project Management) are a plus.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, administration, or a related role.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with Deltek VantagePoint, is a plus.
