Job Summary:
The Project Manager will provide oversight to the design, evaluation and planning for healthcare, science and technology, education and commercial projects.
In this role, you will:
- Lead A/E and/or MEP projects based on scope of work.
- Provide leadership and coordination in providing construction administration services.
- Lead project teams and serve as the primary contact with clients.
- Manage sub-consultants including architects, cost estimators, civil/structural engineers, etc.
- Assist in the procurement of new work, including the development of client relations and participation in project interviews.
- Resolve client concerns: determining the nature and extent of the problem and recommending remedial measures.
- Develop reports/studies.
- Oversee and provide guidance to the engineering staff.
You will be a great fit if:
- You have a minimum of 10 years’ design/project management experience.
- You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture or related degree.
- You have PMP certification is a plus.
- You have experience managing projects for the federal government is preferred.
- You have experience with laboratories/medical facilities is preferred.
Skills/abilities:
- Proficient in MS Office
- Proven ability to successfully lead teams and manage projects
- Strong knowledge of codes, standards and design guidelines
- Excellent work ethic and attitude
- Strong communication, writing and time management skills
Location: Bethesda, MD (Hybrid)
Compensation Range: $120,000 - $140,000
